Get to know Family Physician Dr. Sheridan Major-Moore, who serves patients in Miramar, Florida.

A board-certified family physician, Dr. Major-Moore is the Founder of Joshua Health, an online medical clinic utilizing innovative telehealth technologies to bring patients ages 2 and above increased access to care. She offers a convenient online registration and telehealth platform, as well as rapid appointment scheduling, all without travel.

Back in the early days of her academic career, she received her Master of Science degree from Barry University in 2005, and earned her Master of Public Health degree from the University of Florida in 2009. She completed her medical education at the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2015, and went on to complete her residency in family medicine at Palmetto General Hospital in 2018.

An authority in her field, the doctor is board-certified in family medicine by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians, which is an organization that provides board certification to qualified osteopathic physicians who specialize in delivering comprehensive primary care for patients of all ages, genders, and addressing all parts of the body.

In order to remain up to date in her field, Dr. Major-Moore is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Osteopathic Association, the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, and the Florida Osteopathic Medical Association. 

Family medicine is a medical specialty devoted to comprehensive health care for people of all ages. The specialist is called a family physician or family doctor. They examine and treat patients with a wide range of conditions and refer those with serious ailments to a specialist or appropriate facility.

Outside of her medical practice, she is passionate about travel and mission work, and she places great value on spending time with her family.
