Noubar M. Kevorkian, MD, maintains a position as a General Surgeon and serves as the Associate Director of Surgical Critical Care at the Hospital of Central Connecticut, a 414-bed, 32- bassinet, acute-care community teaching hospital with campuses in New Britain and Southington, Connecticut. Dr. Kevorkian completed his medical education at the University of Balamand with Distinction and was the Commencement Valedictorian. He trained in the field of General Surgery at The Brooklyn Hospital Center, New York and further completed a Surgical Critical Care fellowship as well as an American Association for the Surgery of Trauma (AAST) accredited Acute Care Surgery fellowship at the University of Connecticut. He has presented at various local, regional, and national conferences, has been awarded by the American College of Surgeons Connecticut Chapter Committee on Trauma, and has received multiple awards throughout his training (Dean's Honors List, "Intern of the Year", "Best Teaching Resident of the Year", Service Excellence Awards, Critical Care Debate Winner, etc.). He is a member of the American College of Surgeons as an Associate Fellow and the Armenian American Health Professionals Organization.
