Dr. Norton is a general & cosmetic dentist who is currently serving patients’ dental needs at Dentistry at Sugarloaf in Duluth, Georgia. “At Dentistry at Sugarloaf, our primary goal is to earn your trust from the moment you arrive. Dr. Norton earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia. Additional post-doctoral training at the prestigious Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies brought him the added distinction of having been recognized as a “Preferred LVI Doc” in cosmetic dentistry.

Dr. Norton is a Former Clinical Instructor in Cosmetic Dentistry at The Nash Institute for Dental Learning.

Dr. Norton is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the International Association of Mercury Free Dentists, the Northern District Dental Society, and the Georgia Dental Association. He is also an Associate Fellow of the World Clinical Laser Institute.

As a science, dentistry is continually changing and Dr. Norton attends continuing education classes to keep abreast of the latest and healthiest products available for dental care. His latest research lead him to someone who can insert non-metallic implants as an option to the titanium ones used by most practitioners.

Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. As a general & cosmetic dentist, Dr. Norton has the skills needed to complete an array of procedures that are both simple or complex in nature. Dr. Norton attributes his success to his genuine care for his patients. He resides near the office with his wife, Andrea, and their two Silky Terriers, Chloe and Chelsea. His personal interests are reading, exercise and fitness training, eating his wife’s gourmet cooking, attending auto racing events with his son and grandson, as well as going on day trips with his wife and family.
