With over forty years of experience, Kenneth R. Ong, MD, MPH specializes in clinical informatics. He earned his medical degree at Wayne State University and his master’s of public health degree at the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health. In addition, he is fellowship trained in clinical studies, AIDS, and research at Wayne State University. Dr. Ong has earned many awards, including the Top 25 Clinical Informaticists, the Outstanding Community Service Award and the Charles C. Shepard Science Award. He has edited a textbook: “Medical Informatics: An Executive Primer,” and has published several articles in peer reviewed journals. He retired in 2016 and has volunteered to play music or dance for two local Alzheimer's/Dementia programs. His personal website is www.kenongmd.com.
