Dr. Bafitis has achieved the title of fellow in the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons and the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery. Dr. Bafitis is also a clinical professor of medicine at Nova University Medical School. Dr. Harold Bafitis is one of the leading plastic surgeons in Palm Beach County, supporting charities here and abroad, even traveling overseas on mission trips to help children. He also travels to Johns Hopkins University to train other surgeons on how to perform procedures. He remains a distinguished member of the American Medical Association, the American Osteopathic Association and the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery.

Lots of stretch marks. What can I do?
Stretch marks are often a sign of the miracle of birth ..unfortunately their treatment is not as miraculous! We have come a long way though...the stretch marks are literally a stretching of the dermis and the elastic elements in this layer of the skin. 2017 treatments include the use of the Icon laser with the 1540 laser adapter.This laser can return some of the elastic fibers back to near normal by building new collagen.You can go to drbafitis.com and look under icon laser for examples. After 3 to 4 of these treatments coupled with medical grade hyalauronic acid moisturizers,we often add medical microneedling with a patients own blood PRP....for resistant areas. PRP before or after fillers?
Great question... PRP is a wonderful anti inflammatory part of our blood. It has been less than optimal as a facial filler used in conjunction with a patient's own fat. It can improve permanent fat take in the face. It is also great as a post co2 laser healer. You can do PRP first then wait 3 weeks for the collagen stimulating effects to begin, then do your fillers, OR do the reverse. We are using PRP and autologous fat to create a stem cell stimulating emulsion filler that lasts for up to 4 to 5 years. It is called ALMI, for autologous lipocyte micronized injection. Great plastic surgeon and staff! Had several small facial procedures that made a great impact. It was exactly what I expected. This plastic surgeon was both meticulous and very honest. Highest recommendation! Dr Bafitis performed liposuction on my abdomen area. Being in my forties I really struggled with my pooch area and no matter what diet or fit program, I never had the pooch budge much in size. I HAVE WASHBOARD ABS! This doctor is a perfectionist. Dr. Bafitis is an excellent physician. I had a bilateral mastectomy in 2013 and I was at the lowest point of my life. Once I met Dr. Bafitis and he told me he can't make me perfect, but he can come close to it. Well I had my reconstruction surgery in 2015 . My life is so much better. My confidence is very high and I feel like a complete women again. I will high recommend him to family, friends and strangers. He is very professional and really cares about his patient.
