Daniel W. Fridh, DDS, is a general and cosmetic dentist with a private practice in La Porte, Indiana. Additionally he is affiliated with La Porte Hospital & Physicians: IU Health. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Biological Sciences from Indiana University in 1972, followed by his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from Indiana University School of Dentistry in 1975. While stationed at Baudette, he was instrumental in developing a Certified Dental Assistant Training program at the base. He was awarded a medal for meritorious service for his years of service with the United States Air Force. Dr. Fridth is certified by the American Board of General Dentistry and is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Northwest Indiana Dental Society and the La Porte County Dental Society as well as being Treasurer of the Indiana Dental Association.

Fridh is a highly trained and qualified dentist with a vast expertise in all facets of his work, especially general and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Fridh has been in practice for four decades and is currently serving patients within his own private practice located in La Porte, Indiana. He is also affiliated with La Porte Hospital & Physicians: IU Health. Dr. Fridh completed his undergraduate education in 1972 at Indiana University, before graduating with his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree in 1975 from Indiana University School of Medicine. Following his graduation, Dr. Fridh was awarded a General Practice residency with the United States Air Force, which he completed at Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi, Mississippi. During his residency, his dissertation on the Effects of Fluoridation was adopted by the Air Force as an official publication. Dr. Fridh then served as Chief of Dental Operations at Baudette Air Force Station in Baudette, Minnesota, and Finley Air Force Base in Finley, North Dakota. While stationed at Baudette, Dr. Fridh was instrumental in developing the Certified Dental Assistant Training program at the base, and was awarded a medal for meritorious service for his years of service with the United States Air Force. Dr. Fridh is certified by the American Board of General Dentistry, and has earned the coveted title of Master of the Academy of General Dentistry. He maintains professional memberships with many professional organizations including the American Dental Association, the Indiana Dental Association, the Northwest Indiana Dental Society, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and the La Porte County Dental Society. When he is not assisting his patients, Dr. Fridh enjoys woodworking. General dentists provide a wide array of services that are vital to patients’ continued health.
