Throughout residency Dr Martyka received extensive training in lower extremity sports medicine, trauma management, diabetic foot care, wound care, limb salvage, and lower extremity reconstruction. He additionally conducted clinical research involving use of stem cell therapy in lower extremity injuries.
Dr Martyka joined Associates in Medicine and Surgery in 2019 and was honored to receive peer nomination to serve as Vice President of the Charlotte County Foot and Ankle Association. He continues to advance the field of podiatry as Site Director and Principal Investigator conducting clinical research on lower extremity soft tissue reconstruction in partnership with innovative biotechnology companies.
Dr. Martyka is a Board Certified Diplomate of the American Board of Podiatric Medicine and serves as Associate Faculty for the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons Fellowship training program.
