Get to know Dentist Dr. Michelle Sandler, who serves patients in Solana Beach, California. 

Dr. Sandler is a general & cosmetic dentist. She is currently serving patients at Solana Family Dental – a private dental practice which she previously operated with her mother, Dr. Wanda Kauffman who retired in 2018, in Solana Beach, California. She now runs the practice on her own and use the latest, state-of-the-art equipment and techniques to enhance patients’ dental experience and to provide them with dazzling, healthy smiles. She believes that beyond offering the widest range, highest quality and most advanced dental care available, it is necessary to go the extra mile to provide the optimal dental care that they believe their patients want and deserve.

Dr. Sandler received her Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in zoology from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst in 1982. She then went on to earn her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 1987. 

Dr. Sandler is a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, the San Diego County Dental Society, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.

Throughout the years, Dr. Sandler has been recognized for her expertise and was named ‘San Diego Top Dentist’ by San Diego Magazine in 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019. 

Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. As a general & cosmetic dentist, Dr. Sandler has the skills needed to complete an array of commonly performed dental procedures that are simple or complex in nature. Dr. Sandler attributes her success to working hard, reaching out to her community, and doing her best for each patient. In her spare time, she enjoys a wide range of interests, including spending time with her family, dog, and horses.
