As with all surgery, it can be. I put all my patients on a standard preventive pain mangement regimen that includes tylenol and Aleve around the clock. In addition, my anesthesiologists do an adductor canal block which blocks 70-80% of the pain for 24 hours. READ MORE
Do ganglion cysts go away on their own?
Usually not, though they can wax and wane in size. If they are aspirated (drained with a needle), they frequently recur. Surgery almost always resolves them. READ MORE

How long does a knee dislocation take to heal?
