Eric Sauvageau
Family Practitioner | Obesity Medicine
1387 Rue de Rouen Boucherville Quebec, J4B 7Y3About
Dr Sauvageau is interested in global human health, provided that it the information comes from trusted sources (unbiased, scientific, or other recognized experts). He considers that the best pill is the one that we can avoid taking.
Indeed, as far as possible, "prevention" will always remain above "correction". This is a fact even in conventional medicine as for humans, the spare parts are rare and often come with a high price to pay (maybe even more medication to take, possible side effects, surgery, etc.).
The mission of Dr Sauvageau is to accompany his patients with their problems, without judging, and to help them discover the power to change that is within us, regardless of the genetics we inherited.
In his humble opinion, a large proportion of health problems are the results of multifactorial causes and benefits from a multidimensional approach. Dr Sauvageau uses both the forces of Occidental medicine, or conventional medicine and those of holistic medicine, or integrative health.
There is a whole spectrum of possible overlap between these two approaches. The stage presentation of the disease and the patient's preferences determine if interventions are focused on conventional medicine, integrative health or most often a combination of both approaches. In fact, these two approaches are not mutually exclusive, on the contrary, they are complementary.
