Psychiatry is my calling. I give enough time to my patients I take on so that I can get to know each of them well, have a personalized, supportive and caring relationship and I always try to be there when my patient needs me. I focus on providing the highest quality care in both professional expertise and caring environment.

In keeping with the interdisciplinary nature of modern research, I carry out research in multiple areas and collaborate with colleagues throughout the college.
I have worked in the areas of human immunodeficiency virus and psychiatric morbidity, both of which involve studying the interplay between psychological and physiological processes. Much of my work focuses on the nature of psychiatric morbidiy, variations in psychiatric morbidity with HIV associated with age, gender, culture and clinical pathology. My research group is also focussed on Efficacy and Safety Profiles of Aripiprazole versus Risperidone amongschizophrenic Patients, supported by drugs from a pharmaceutical company.
