Waheed S. Baksh, MD, DPT is a pain management specialist with his own private practice, The Pain Center of West Virginia located in Martinsburg. The Pain Center of West Virginia is a premier facility offering a multidisciplinary approach to treating pain. The Pain Center offers both interventional and non-interventional treatments for chronic and acute pain in a caring, patient-centered environment. Dr. Baksh specializes in pain management, sports medicine, spine center, hand and wrist care, leg and arm pain and shoulder care. Dr. Baksh was educated at Temple University, completed a residency at Baylor College of Medicine and a fellowship at Mount Sinai School of Medicine. In order to stay active in his field, he maintains memberships with The American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians and the Eastern Pain Association. Prior to his medical training, Dr. Baksh played baseball professionally for the New York Yankees.
