Throughout her academic career, the doctor earned her medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She then went on to complete her internship in general surgery at Lehigh Valley Hospital Center in Allentown, Pennsylvania, followed by her residency in anesthesiology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia. This was followed by a fellowship in pain medicine at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia.

Among the doctor’s various accomplishments, she is board-certified in anesthesiology by the American Board of Anesthesiology, whose mission is to advance the highest standards of the practice of anesthesiology. She is also board-certified in pain medicine by the American Board of Pain Medicine, whose mission is to improve the quality of pain medicine. Furthermore, she is certified in age management medicine by the Cenegenics Education and Research Foundation.
