A South Carolina native who grew up in Bishopville, Dr. Babb attended Wofford College for undergraduate studies in Biology and Business and then completed his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry degree at The Medical University of South Carolina. 

For his Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency, he attended the University of Florida. He is also a graduate of the Pankey Institute and Dawson Academy, which are known for advanced education in dentistry for practitioners who want to provide the most comprehensive and advanced dental care.

A Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (FICOI), Dr. Babb is a member of the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry.
