Dr. Marina Polonsky, is a dentist with her own private practice, Alta Vista Dental in Ottawa, Ontario. Dr. Polonsky grew up in Ottawa, graduated dental school at the University of Toronto in 1999 with dean's gold medal and has been working in the office ever since. She continued her dental education in the areas of orthodontics/braces and implants. She received her fellowship diploma with World Clinical Laser Institute in July 2011. In June 2012, Marina received her Mastership diploma with WCLI. Dr. Polonsky is now the only person in Ottawa, and the 2nd person in Ontario who is certified to teach all aspects of laser dentistry. She has 2 children and enjoys skiing in the winter and scuba diving in the summer. Furthermore, she is accepting new patients, and is fluent in English and Russian, and understands French and Ukrainian.

They are not harmful (that we know of), but also not as effective as professional strength products. READ MORE
I had a root canal and the same tooth is hurting again. What should I do?
Go back and tell the dentist who did the root canal that there is still pain in the tooth. Root canals are not 100 % successful in the best of scenarios. READ MORE
