Distinguished Diagnostic Radiologist, Shannon Gaffney, DO, sees patients at Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada Shannon Gaffney, DO is a highly trained and qualified diagnostic radiologist with an expertise in all facets of radiology, especially women's imaging. Dr. Gaffney has been in practice for over five years and is currently serving patients at Mike O'Callaghan Federal Hospital, operated by the US Air Force and located on Nellis Air Force Base in Clark County, Nevada. Dr. Gaffney graduated in 2006 with her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine. She subsequently trained at Stony Brook University School of Medicine, and McGuire Air Force Base in Trenton, New Jersey. Dr. Gaffney received board certification in diagnostic radiology from the American Board of Radiology and maintains professional memberships with the American College of Radiology. Dr. Gaffney was named Radiologist of the Year in 2014, and credits her success to her passion for people, drive to make a difference, and understanding of patient's needs and concerns. In her spare time, Dr. Gaffney is a competitive cyclist.
