I would suggest for him to do a special CT scan named EBCT, which calculates calcium scores on the coronary vessels also ultrasound of carotides. If they are negative, I would not worry about cholesterol if not diabetic, hypertensive, or a smoker, but if calcium score is even 1%, he will need to be started on statin. READ MORE

Can osteoporosis have an impact on my ability to conceive?
You have to find why you have osteoporosis at such a young age. Typically, use of longstanding steroids such as prednisone can cause that. Lack of female hormones can cause that. Also, eating disorders could be the cause (Bulimia, anorexia me today). If none of that is the case, we have to think about Celiac disease (gluten intolerance) or sun Clinical Cushing syndrome.
