Yasser Zeid, MD, is an established obstetrician with Zeid Womenâ??s Health Center in Texas. He graduated from Ain Shams University in 1988 and trained at St. Luke's Medical Center and Brooklyn Hospital Center. Zeid Women's Health Center (Zeid WHC), with locations in Tyler, Longview and Henderson, Texas, is an all-inclusive women's gynecology and obstetrics health center that is dedicated to caring for women throughout every single stage of their lives. Dr. Zeid and his staff at Zeid Womenâ??s Health Center provide quality medical service in a pleasant and friendly atmosphere. He is a Fellow in the International College of Surgeons, a Diplomate of the American Board of Obstetricians and Gynecologist (Board Certified), a member of The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the Texas Medical Association, the Texas Association of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, as well as the American Medical Association. Dr. Zeid currently serves as Chairman of the TMA Maternal and Perinatal Health Committee, a member of the Select Committee on Medicaid and the Uninsured and is on the TEXPAC (TMA Political Action Committee) Board of Directors. Keeping abreast of the latest state of the art procedures Dr. Zeid performs DaVinci Robotic Assisted Gynecologic Surgeries from chronic pelvic pain to abnormal bleeding including Total Laproscopic Hysterectomies. Dr. Zeid is trained and certified to perform Novasure and Thermachoice Endometrial Ablation which is a minimally invasive treatment option for patients that experience the inconvenience and discomfort of heavy menstrual bleeding. He also offers permanent birth control performing the new ESSURE (bilateral tubal plugging) procedure as well as traditional tubal ligation. Dr. Zeid also performs minimally invasive procedures for urinary urgency, frequency and incontinence that are not alleviated by medications. He offers Medtronic InterStim Therapy (sacral nerve stimulation) for urinary control problems in patients who have not had success with the conventional treatments.
