Get to know Family Physician Dr. Meada Pakour, who serves patients in Los Angeles, California.

Specializing in family medicine and pediatrics, Dr. Pakour is a wonderful family physician serving patients of all ages at her private practice in Los Angeles, California. Her goal is to give each family the best medical care for a lifetime of good health. 

Treating patients like family, they have excellent things to say about her, one stating “I had an amazing and effortless first visit! The receptionists, the nurse, and Dr. Pakour were all so personable and professional. The offices are decorated very cute since the doctor specializes in pediatrics, and I felt very at home there even though I’m an adult. I’m very excited that Dr. Pakour is my PCP!”

At the start of her academic career, Dr. Pakour graduated with her medical degree from the Faculty of Medicine at Damascus University in Syria in 1988. After relocating to the United States, she performed her residency in pediatrics at Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science/UCLA in California in 2003.

Subsequent to her education, she attained board certification in pediatrics through the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP). The ABP exists to promote excellence in medical care for children and adolescents. Certification represents dedication by pediatricians, pediatric subspecialists, and pediatric trainees to the highest level of professionalism in patient care.

Family medicine is a medical specialty devoted to comprehensive health care for people of all ages. The specialist is called a family physician or family doctor. A family physician is often the first person a patient sees when seeking healthcare services. They examine and treat patients with a wide range of conditions and refer those with serious ailments to a specialist or appropriate facility.
