Specializing in hypnotherapy, which offers rapid results, she has helped countless people lose weight, stop smoking, get over their anxiety, fears, worries, phobias, and broken hearts. She helps people experience painless medical procedures, including childbirth. She also works with people with autoimmune disorders such as multiple chemical sensitivity syndrome, allergies, sugar addictions,and sports related issues.  The Sweet Tooth Extraction is a rapid hypnotic technique that eliminates the craving for sweets.

Her educational background includes a Master of Arts degree in Human Learning and Development at Governor’s State University in 1973. Dr. Laser earned her Certification in Child Guidance and Family Counseling from the Alfred Adler University in Chicago in 1974. She was awarded a Masters of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology from Alfred Adler University in 1984. In addition Dr. Laser achieved a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Psychology from Union Institute & University in 1986.

Having worked in a number of medical settings. Dr. Laser has served as a trainer at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics in the Department of Interventional Radiology. At the Beth Israel New England Deaconess Medical Center, affiliated with Harvard University Medical Center. Dr. Laser partnered with Dr. Elvira Lang to develop training programs in rapid rapport and hypnosis adapted to the fast paced nature of the modern patient encounter.

An international lecturer and an Approved Consultant for the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis(ASCH). Dr. Laser taught hypnosis techniques to psychologists and medical professionals around the world.  She is widely published, serving as the co-author of the book, 

Patient Sedation Without Medication Lang/Laser, which is a practical and insightful handbook for incorporating hypnosis for medical procedures.

Attributing her success to her father who was her mentor and opened the world of hypnosis to her, Dr. Laser is a member of the Society of Clinical and Experimental Hypnosis and the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis.
