Get to know Dentist Dr. Ravi Ramjit, who serves patients in Florida.

Dr. Ramjit, a highly regarded dentist, specializes in a range of dental services including tooth restoration procedures such as fillings, crowns, bridges, and veneers. He is also proficient in implant surgeries, root canal treatments, teeth whitening, extractions, as well as the provision of snoring and sleep appliances.

As the proud proprietor of Smile Institute Miami, Dr. Ramjit has cultivated a dental practice known for its personalized approach, unwavering commitment, compassionate care, and its dedication to staying at the forefront of modern dentistry. In addition to his role as the owner of Smile Institute Miami, Dr. Ramjit collaborates with Drs. Pape and Lucas at Isle Smile in Key West. Together, they offer comprehensive dental care to patients of all age groups.

A native of Miami-Dade, Dr. Ramjit earned his Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Miami. Subsequently, he completed his dental education at Howard University College of Dentistry in Washington, D.C., where he earned three prestigious awards of distinction in the fields of removable prosthodontics, restorative dentistry, and community dentistry. Following this, he returned to Miami to establish Smile Institute Miami.

As an active member of the American Dental Association, Dr. Ramjit is board certified through the American Board of General Dentistry (ABGD). The mission of the ABGD is to elevate the standards and advance the science and arts of General Dentistry by encouraging its study and improving its practice.

Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. Dentists diagnose and treat dental issues and help patients develop better oral hygiene regimens. They clean teeth, correct bite issues, perform surgeries and extractions, and perform other duties to ensure that the teeth and mouth are healthy.   

Throughout his line of work, Dr. Ramjit has volunteered at multiple community hospitals and in Kenya where his dental team provided care for children with special needs.

Enthusiastic and deeply committed to the oral health of his patients and his community, he was recognized in the journal “Leading Physicians of the World” as a Top Dentist in South Florida.
