Get to know Hematologist and Oncologist Dr. Bruce M. Greenfield, who serves the population of Las Cruces, New Mexico. Dr. Greenfield is a highly trained and qualified physician with an extensive expertise in all facets of his work. He has been in practice for more than four decades, and is currently serving patients within Memorial Medical Center in Las Cruces, NM & at Mountainview Regional Medical Center in Las Cruces, NM. Dr. Greenfield was educated at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. Upon receiving his Medical Degree, he completed his Internal Medicine residency at Stanford University Medical Center in California, before undertaking his Hematology fellowship within the same educational venue. Dr. Greenfield is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Hematology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. To keep up to date with the latest advances and developments in his field, Dr. Greenfield remains a distinguished member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology & a cofounder of the New Mexico Society of Clinical Oncology. A hematologist-oncologist who is a physician who specializes in the diagnosis, treatment and/or prevention of blood diseases and cancers such as iron-deficiency anemia, hemophilia, sickle-cell disease, leukemia and lymphoma. They will be trained in hematology, the study of blood and oncology, the study of cancer, but will specialize in treating blood cancers, such as Hodgkins and non-Hodgkins lymphomas, leukemias and multiple myelomas.
