Cabe Owens, MD, PhD, is an established Physician / Neurophysiologist maintaining his own private practice, Cabe Owens MD PhD PLLC, dba NeuroSentinel Physician Services, located in Houston, Texas. He launched his practice in 2011 and provides provide physician supervision for neurodiagnostic technologists and practitioners that perform intraoperative monitoring (IOM). When surgery is deemed necessary, neuromonitoring can help surgeons locate and avoid injury to nerve tissue in order to reduce the risks of stroke, sensory loss, and paralysis. Dr. Owens helps with physician supervision, timely reports, data management, and medical billing. He is licensed to practice medicine in Texas, California, New York, and Tennessee and licensure in several other states is currently in progress. Dr. Owens received his medical degree in 1989 and his PhD in neuroscience in 1991 at The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston in 1989. He also holds a bachelor degree of science in nuclear engineering from Cornell University acquired in 1981 and a master degree of engineering received at Brown University in 1985.
