With over 20 years of experience in the field, Dr. Vatsala S. Sastry, MD, is a board-certified infectious disease specialist who sees patients in Florida. To begin her career, she earned her medical degree from Bagalore Medical College. From there, she completed her internship in Internal Medicine at Grant Hospital of Chicago followed by her residencies in Anesthesiology at F G McGaw Hospital in Illinois and her Infectious Disease residency at Hospital of Pennsylvania in Pennsylvania. In order to provide her patients with the best care, Dr. Sastry currently specializes in infectious diseases at Oak Hill Hospital in Brooksville, Florida. As an attribute to her success, Dr. Sastry received the Top Female Entrepreneur Award from US Commerce Tampa. Furthermore, she currently holds expertise in treating Lyme Disease and is board-certified in Infectious Disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
