Dr. Clark’s acclaimed career in medicine began in 1980, when he graduated from the University of the Witwatersrand. He has completed the Centre for Diabetes and Endocrinology Advanced Course in Diabetes Care, with distinction, and the Foundation for Professional Development course in Practice Management. He practiced as a family practitioner for over 25 years, before moving to full time aesthetic practice. Featuring over three decades of experience in his field, he has a special expertise in filler volumisation, neuromuscular manipulation with botulinum neurotoxin, IPL and laser, chemical peels, and physical treatments of the skin. Dr. Clark has dedicated his life to providing quality and compassionate care to his patients. Dr Clark has developed an approach to static (hypertonic) and dynamic (hyperkinetic) wrinkles, which greatly simplifies the use of fillers to achieve the patient’s desired goal. He uses his technique to treat anything from inexpensive lines and wrinkles to lip enhancement, nasoplasty, cheekbone augmentation, eyebrow ridge augmentation, earlobe rejuvenation, and complete facial treatments. Dr. Alastair Clark is an established Cosmetic Dermatologist and Aesthetic Medicine Physician currently serving patients within his practice, Sandton Aesthetic Institute in Parkmore, Sandton, South Africa. Dr. Clark designs and delivers courses, is an honorary lecturer, and has presented on the international stage for a number of aesthetic companies.
