Ailyn Payan, Psy.D, is a leading Clinical Psychologist, Founder and CEO of Mindful Amity Psychological Services in Miami, Florida, where she focuses primarily on therapeutic services and psychological testing for children and adolescents. Mindful Amity focuses on providing various psychological services to those with a variety of problems, struggles, and/or disorders. Our clients include pregnant women, infants, children, adolescents, adults, and families. After earning her Bachelors Degree of Arts in Psychology in 2008 at Florida International University, Dr. Payan completed her Masters Degree of Science in Psychology in 2010 and her Doctorate of Psychology in 2015 at Albizu University. Prior to her current endeavors, she served as Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern, Clinical Psychology Intern, and Postdoctoral Fellow at the Institute for Child & Family Health, Inc. (2011-2016). Additionally, in order to stay up to date on all medical advancements in her field, she maintains a professional membership with the American Psychological Association. Dr. Payan has attended numerous trainings to enhance her knowledge in the field of psychology. One of these trainings included an Infant Mental Health Program led by local and national experts in the field which allows her to work as an Infant Mental Health therapist. Dr. Payan is further interested in strengthening positive relationships and reducing the negative impact of emotional psychological abuse in children and adults.
