Get to know Physician Assistant, Dara Vino, who serves patients throughout the State of Florida.

Dara is a board-certified physician assistant renowned for her expertise in holistic medicine. She is currently affiliated with Whole Family Healthcare, tending to patients in Winter Park and Lake Mary, Florida. She specializes in treating endocrine disorders, complex neurological disorders, infectious and immune disorders, digestive disorders, and orthopedic injuries. She firmly believes in educating her patients and allocating the necessary time for healing. 

Her primary focus lies in identifying the root causes of diseases and striving for permanent resolutions. Rather than merely prescribing medications to alleviate symptoms, she aims to rehabilitate the body, mind, and spirit. By staying informed about new treatments and integrating innovative cures, she ensures that her patients at Whole Family Healthcare receive the most effective care available.

Originally from Miami, Florida, Dara completed her education at Nova Southeastern University in 2003. In 2008, she made the move to Denver, Colorado, where she underwent extensive training in naturopathic and holistic medicine. While her early years were spent practicing traditional medicine, she has since devoted her life and work to the principles of holistic health and wellness, broadening her understanding of alternative therapies to help her patients achieve optimal health.

Throughout her career, she has served as a Physician Assistant in various locations, including Florida, Colorado, and Hawaii. Prior to joining Whole Family Healthcare, she was a leading Physician Assistant responsible for prescribing Apomorphine Hydrochloride Injections for Parkinson’s disease. Additionally, she served as a sub-investigator in over 70 clinical trials focusing on the treatment of movement disorders.

A Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) is a health care practitioner who practices medicine in collaboration with physicians. They examine patients, prescribe medicine, and order diagnostic tests. In most cases, they work under the supervision of physicians or surgeons, but they can work more independently in some states, rural areas, and inner-city areas, consulting with physicians only when they need help with cases.

In addition to her high-energy practice, Dara finds joy in surfing and snowboarding with her family. It is worth mentioning that she is a retired professional ballerina. She considers herself blessed to have God as her guiding force in all her decisions and endeavors.
