Los Angeles, California - PIH Health Good Samaritan Hospital proudly announces the continued dedication of Paul Coriolan, PA-C, a certified physician assistant specializing in emergency medicine and trauma care. With a commitment to evaluating patients with compassion, Mr. Coriolan plays a vital role in enhancing the quality of care at this historic institution.

Established in 1885, PIH Health Good Samaritan Hospital is the oldest hospital in Los Angeles and has been a cornerstone of the community for over a century. Now a nonprofit, 408-bed acute care hospital, it became part of PIH Health in December 2019. The downtown Los Angeles campus houses a hospital and a medical office building, providing essential healthcare services to meet the diverse needs of its patients and their families.

Mr. Coriolan is a distinguished graduate of the University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine, where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology followed by a Bachelor of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. He further honed his expertise with a partial residency in emergency medicine at Charles Jewel Medical Center in Watts, California.

With over three decades of experience in the field, Mr. Coriolan is dedicated to staying at the forefront of medical advancements. He is actively affiliated with the California Academy of Physician Associates and the Society of Emergency Medicine Physician Assistants, demonstrating his commitment to professional growth and excellence in emergency care.

Beyond his professional achievements, Mr. Coriolan expresses profound gratitude for the unwavering support of his mentor, Stan Caulter, MD, and his wife of over two decades, Mayra, who has stood by him throughout his career. A proud father of four and a grandfather of nine, he cherishes the time spent with his family. Mr. Coriolan is also multilingual, speaking both English and French, allowing him to connect with a broader range of patients.
