A New York City native, he graduated with his Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Physics, Summa Cum Laude, from Rutgers University in 2008. He then went on to earn his medical degree from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in 2012.
Furthering his training, Dr. Bitton-Faiwiszewski performed his residency in internal medicine at UC San Diego Medical Center in 2015, his fellowship in cardiovascular disease at the University of Colorado in 2019, his fellowship in interventional cardiology at the University of Utah Health in 2020, and his fellowship in endovascular intervention and vascular medicine at Columbia University Irving Medical Center in 2021.
Helping patients maintain a heart-healthy life, he is triple board-certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, and interventional cardiology by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.
Holding fellowship status, Dr. Bitton-Faiwiszewski is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC) and a Fellow of the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions (FSCAI).
