They practice a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery with expertise ranging from wisdom tooth removal to corrective jaw surgery. They also treat facial injuries, sleep apnea, TMJ disorders, and perform a full range of dental implant and bone grafting procedures.
Originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Dr. Massaro graduated from the University of Pittsburgh before moving to Florida in 2007 to pursue his Master of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences from Barry University. Upon completion of his master’s degree, he went on to earn his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry degree from Nova Southeastern University in 2012 where he was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon dental honors society.
He then matched and promptly enrolled in a 6-year OMFS residency program at the University of Florida -Jacksonville. He earned his medical degree from the University of Florida in 2016 and completed his comprehensive training in all phases and aspects of oral and maxillofacial surgery in 2018.
In good standing with a number of professional dental organizations, Dr. Massaro is an active member of the Florida Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, and the Northeast District Dental Association.
In addition, he is a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, a Delegate of the Northeast District Dental Association to the Florida Dental Association, and a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
