Get to know Psychologist Dr. Patricia Hillis-Clark, who serves the population of Pennsylvania.

Dr. Patricia Hillis-Clark, Psy.D., is a highly experienced professional in the child and adolescent behavioral healthcare field, with over 25 years of dedicated service. She is a licensed psychologist in Pennsylvania and holds a Certification in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Currently, Dr. Hillis-Clark serves as the executive director of the Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Pennsylvania Children’s Services Center. In this pivotal role, she is responsible for overseeing the care and treatment of approximately 2,000 children and adolescents annually, who are living with emotional, behavioral, and cognitive differences. Dr. Hillis-Clark specializes in working with highly traumatized populations, including sexually exploited and trafficked youth.

Dr. Hillis-Clark has an impressive academic background, having earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Cabrini College, a Master in Social Work from Temple University, and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Chestnut Hill College. Additionally, she has completed certification programs in Financial Success for Nonprofits from Cornell University, Behavior Analysis from the Florida Institute of Technology, and School Psychology from Eastern University.

Actively engaged in professional organizations, Dr. Hillis-Clark is a valued member of the American Psychological Association, where she serves as the Chair of the Division 12 Mentorship Sub-Committee. She is also involved with the Rehabilitation and Community Providers Association on the Children’s Services Steering Committee and contributes to the Main Line’s Chamber of Commerce on the Leadership Main Line Steering Committee.

Dr. Hillis-Clark's dedication to her field has been recognized through her affiliation as a Diplomate of the Academy of Cognitive Therapy and as a Fellow by the American Psychological Association – Division 12 Society of Clinical Psychology in 2023. She is a sought-after presenter on various topics such as sexual exploitation, trauma, and resilience, and has also shared her expertise as adjunct teaching faculty at the graduate level.

Dr. Hillis-Clark attributes her success to the guidance and support of exceptional leaders and mentors who have inspired her to develop and implement effective systems of care for traumatized youth.
