Get to know Plastic Surgeon Dr. Jordan Farkas, who serves patients in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey.

A highly trained plastic surgeon, Dr. Farkas is the Owner and CEO of Farkas Plastic Surgery in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey. Committed to surgical excellence, he has worked tirelessly for years to hone his craft.

Throughout his academic career, he obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, before earning his medical degree at St. George’s School of Medicine. 

Subsequently, Dr. Farkas was accepted into the premier plastic surgery program in the country, University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, and trained in all facets of plastic and reconstructive surgery, with a very strong focus on cosmetic surgery with particular attention to facial rejuvenation (face/neck lifts, rhinoplasty, blepharoplasty, non-invasive techniques) and breast and body contouring (breast augmentation, mastopexy, liposuction, abdominoplasty, breast reconstruction) by internationally renowned masters in the field.

Dr. Farkas spent two years dedicated to research of innovative laser technologies and non-invasive fat reduction tools utilized in cosmetic surgery. He has presented at multiple international conferences and has published more than 20 peer reviewed articles and book chapters in the plastic and reconstructive literature related to facial aging, laser surgery, liposuction, rhinoplasty and body contouring.

Following his training, the doctor attained the highest level of accreditation with his board certification in plastic surgery through the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS). The mission of the ABPS is to promote safe, ethical, efficacious plastic surgery to the public by maintaining high standards for the education, examination, certification, and continuous certification of plastic surgeons as specialists and subspecialists.

Continuously advancing his educational and community efforts, he is an active member of the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons, the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, and the New Jersey Doctor Patient Alliance, and a clinical instructor at the annual Dallas Rhinoplasty symposium.
