Get to know Allergist and Immunologist Dr. Krikor Manoukian, who serves patients in Burbank, California.

Dr. Manoukian, a board-certified allergist and immunologist, is the Co-Founder of AIRE Medical Group in Burbank, California.

Alongside his clinical role, Dr. Manoukian serves as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Allergy & Immunology at University of California, Irvine. He belongs to several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology, the American College of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology, the Los Angeles Society of Allergy, Asthma & Clinical Immunology, the American College of Physicians, the American Medical Association, and the Los Angeles County Medical Association.

On the subject of his educational background, Dr. Manoukian received a dual Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Biology and Economics from the University of Southern California. He then went on to earn his medical degree from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). This was followed by a residency in internal medicine at Kaiser Los Angeles and a fellowship in allergy / immunology at the University of California, Irvine. 

The doctor’s academic achievements include publications and presentations at major conferences or seminars. His research interests include but are not limited to: asthma, food & drug allergies, and contact dermatitis. 

He is board-certified in adult and pediatric allergy and immunology by the American Board of Allergy and Immunology, whose mission is to improve the quality of medical care by the development and utilization of professional and educational standards for the initial certification and maintenance of certification of physician specialists in allergy and immunology. 

Moreover, he is board-certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine, a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.
