Cameron A. Roth, MD, MHS is a fellowship-trained orthopedic doctor specializing in hand, wrist and upper extremity surgery, including caring for various ailments of the hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder in patients of all ages and lifestyles.

Dr. Roth treats a myriad of conditions, including but not limited to acute and chronic fractures, arthritis, ligament injuries, nerve disorders and joint instability. He has extensive training in several surgical procedures, including acute upper limb trauma and post-traumatic reconstruction of complex injuries of the hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder. Dr. Roth also enjoys helping patients with conditions of the upper limb, including sports-related injuries, arthritis, and compression nerve entrapments.

As an orthopedic doctor, patient care is always at the forefront of Dr. Roth’s mind, and he is fully committed to working with patients and their families to decide upon the best treatment plan. His team is dedicated to providing all patients with a compassionate, thoughtful and empathetic approach to helping them improve, whether through conservative or surgical management. Dr. Roth is fluent in both English and Spanish.

Dr. Roth has contributed several peer-reviewed research articles and is an active committee member for the American Society for Surgery of the Hand (ASSH) as well as a peer-reviewer for The Journal of Hand Surgery. Dr. Roth also serves as a consultant to the MLB’s Chicago White Sox during Spring Training.
 
Outside of the office, Dr. Roth has an ongoing interest in global health and delivery to underserved populations. He has spent time living in Guatemala and Costa Rica, teaching English and public health to rural indigenous populations. In his free time, Dr. Roth enjoys running, yoga, travel, cooking, and spending time with friends and family.

His dedication to advancing the field of orthopedic surgery is evident through his contributions to peer-reviewed research articles and active involvement in organizations such as the American Society for Surgery of the Hand (ASSH) and The Journal of Hand Surgery. He also serves as a consultant to the MLB’s Chicago White Sox, as well as a mentor for students at the University of Arizona College of Medicine.
