Dr. Ledbetter, an accomplished clinical psychologist, is the Founder of Ledbetter Psychological Services, LLC located in Huntsville, Alabama. As a firm believer in social justice, she is passionate about working with diverse populations in order to help individuals make significant changes towards improving their overall well-being and quality of life. This includes multicultural populations, individuals with any gender identification or sexual orientation, and those with religious or non-religious beliefs.

Named one of the Top Three Psychologists in Huntsville in 2020, Dr. Ledbetter offers a wide range of services such as psychological assessment, individual therapy, and couples therapy. She treats children, adolescents, and adults ages 7-65. She feels that it is important to practice without judgment in order to create a safe space for her patients.
Before embarking on her professional journey, she earned her Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Psychology from the University of Alabama in 2008. She then went on to obtain her Master of Arts (MA) degree in Counseling from Adler University in 2013, followed by her Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) degree in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy from Adler University in 2015. She completed her clinical internship and postdoctoral residency at Adler Community Health Services in Chicago, Illinois.
A member of the Alabama Psychological Association and the American Psychological Association, Dr. Ledbetter is a certified PREPARE-ENRICH facilitator, which identifies a couple’s strength and growth areas for premarital counseling or marriage enrichment. She has clinical experience working across multiple settings, including community mental health, schools, private practice, as well as forensic and primary care facilities. Her research focuses on adult attachment styles in romantic relationships as it relates to communication and conflict resolution.
Clinical psychology is a broad branch of psychology that focuses on diagnosing and treating mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders. Some of the more common disorders that might be treated include ADHD, learning disabilities, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, and personality disorders. Clinical psychologists meet with patients to identify problems – emotional, mental and behavioral – in their lives. Through observation, interviews and tests, they aim to diagnose any existing or potential disorders.
On a more personal note, Dr. Ledbetter enjoys all types of music, art, & performing arts. She also enjoys performing, playing, and creating. A lifelong athlete, she has a passion for sports. Outside of the office, she likes traveling, being outdoors, exploring new things in life, as well as spending time with her family, friends, and dogs.
