Since 1985, the MS Center at Holy Name Medical Center has served as a regional leader in MS care, providing unparalleled, holistic care to patients of all ages living with multiple sclerosis. Approximately 1,800 patients from the greater New York metropolitan region visit the MS Center for its clinical excellence, personalized patient care, and innovative clinical research. It takes a holistic approach to healing and has integrated its MS services with others throughout the hospital so that patients feel completely supported and cared for from diagnosis through treatment and maintenance. The MS Center is one of a select few multiple sclerosis centers in the region—and the only facility in Bergen County, New Jersey—to be affiliated with the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
Before joining Holy Name, Dana worked for seven years in the Neurosurgical Critical Care Unit at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. Her other nursing experience includes primary and urgent care, oncology, and medical ICU. She encourages personal responsibility in healthcare, which includes attention to health maintenance as well as interactive decision making during times of illness.
With a certification in critical care, she earned her bachelor’s degree from the City University of New York, Lehman College. She then completed her Master of Science in Nursing degree from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey.
