Dr. Heather Saran, DO, joined Endocrinology Associates in 2017. She sees patients at both the Chandler and Scottsdale locations.
Dr. Saran attended Medical School at Midwestern University’s Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine in
Glendale, Arizona. She completed a residency in Internal Medicine at Cleveland Clinic, and then
completed a Fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism at the Ohio State University.
Dr. Saran treats patients with a wide range of Endocrine conditions including diabetes, thyroid hormone
abnormalities, thyroid cancer and nodules, osteoporosis, PCOS, obesity, low testosterone, as well as pituitary and adrenal disorders. Patients seeking management of menopause related concerns should work in collaboration with their gynecology provider. Dr. Saran also has extensive training and experience with modern diabetes technologies, non-surgical procedures for thyroid nodules, and gender affirming hormone therapy.
Her philosophy centers on viewing each patient as an individual and partnering with each patient to
develop a comprehensive, evidence-based treatment plan. Her treatment approach emphasizes
preventative treatment.
Dr. Saran is the proud mother of two girls. In her free time enjoys ballet, yoga, traveling, and spending time
with her family.
