Hello! See a dentist as soon as possible in person. Sounds like you have the beginnings of a tooth infection. Need x-rays to confirm though. Most likely related to a large cavity on one of the teeth in that area. The change in pressure when changing altitude most likely is putting pressure on the abscess you have. Hope this helps. Cheers! Can drinking orange juice cause gum pain?
Normally no. If you haven't had a dental cleaning in a while it is most likely your gums are inflamed and the orange juice aggravated them more. I would contact your dentist for a closer evaluation. READ MORE
Can you close a gap without braces?
Unfortunately no. However, you have other options then braces alone. You may be a candidate for clear aligners. Go to a dentist for an evaluation. READ MORE
I think I have infected soft pulp tissue in my back tooth. What's the treatment for this?
It is difficult to say definitely without looking at radiographs and looking clinically at the tooth. If there is sufficient tooth structure left then maybe a root canal, build-up, and a crown. If the tooth doesn't look good it may be extracted. READ MORE
Why do my teeth smell bad when I floss?
Most likely you have a gum infection and need a dental cleaning to remove the bacteria. Continue flossing every day at least 1x/day until you see a dentist. READ MORE
Does Listerine kill gingivitis?
Listerine is an additional tool to help kill bacteria and reduce gingivitis. However, flossing (1x/day minimally) and brushing (2x/day minimally) are the main and best ways to reduce gingivitis. READ MORE
