Coming from a family with a strong connection to the medical field, Dr. Desai had a passion for becoming a physician from a young age. After finishing medical school, he moved to the US in 2012. His internship and residency training were completed in California by 2017. From 2017 to 2021, he worked as an independent provider for a primary care group based in Redlands, CA and as a part-time hospitalist with Dignity Health in San Bernardino, CA. In 2021, with the aim of providing integrated and value-based healthcare, he established Desai Medical Group & Behavioral Health. The core principle at Desai Medical Group & Behavioral Health is to adopt a “Whole Person Care” approach by integrating Primary Care and Behavioral Health. Outside of work, Dr. Desai enjoys spending time with his family, reading, watching movies, traveling, and exploring new places.

With the aim to provide integrated and value-based healthcare, Dr. Desai established his private practice - Desai Medical Group & Behavioral Health - in 2021. The core principle at the practice is to adopt a “whole person care” approach by integrating primary care and behavioral health.
Born in a family with strong roots to the field of medicine, he wanted to be a physician from a very young age. He spent his childhood traveling between the United States and India, graduating high school and finishing medical school from India.
After completing medical school, Dr. Desai moved to the United States with a goal of pursuing his career as a physician in 2012. He finished his internship and residency in internal medicine at the San Joaquin General Hospital in 2017, before going on to work as an independent provider with a primary care group based in Redlands and as a part-time hospitalist with Dignity Health in San Bernardino from 2017-2021.
Following his training, the doctor attained board certification in internal medicine through the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.
