Doctor Maria Nigrelli is a residency-trained optometrist specialized in advanced ocular disease, emergency care, low vision, specialty contact lenses, and binocular vision. She has completed externships at the Atwater Eye Care Center in Bloomington Indiana, Roudebush VAMC in Indianapolis Indiana, North Suburban Vision Consultants in Deerfield Illinois, and the Dorn VAMC in Columbia South Carolina.

Dr. Nigrelli earned her Doctorate of Optometry from the Indiana University School of Optometry in 2018, where she received the Deans Academic Merit Scholarship and graduated with High Honors. She attended the University of Connecticut where she received the Presidential Scholarship and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a double major in Animal Science and Pathobiology.
