Mrs. Valerie Heath Miles MD
Pediatrician
1539 PARENTAL HOME RD 5 JACKSONVILLE FL, 32216About
Dr. Valerie Miles received her MD in 1991 from MUSC in Charleston. She completed her pediatrics training at Primary Children's Hospital in Salt Lake City, UT in 1994 and continued on as chief resident and academic pediatric fellow until 1995. In her first practice in Durango, CO, Dr. Miles was first introduced to the concept of Holistic Medicine, which is now a formal specialty called Integrative Medicine. She has been board certified in Pediatrics since 1994 and in Integrative Medicine since 2000.
After establishing and operating the first integrative pediatric primary care practice in Jacksonville, FL from 2000-2018, she realized the restrictions placed on doctors in this typical insurance-based model were not allowing for the time and care her patients deserved. In 2020, she partnered with Dr. Dhanu Sant and created ThriveWell Pediatrics, the first membership-based direct primary care pediatrics practice in Jacksonville, FL, providing direct physician access, high touch convenience and customized care.
