Acclaimed Practitioner Integrates Acupuncture, Therapeutic Massage, and Nutritional Medicine for Comprehensive Patient Care

Cynthiaann Hayes-Hurst, DAOM, RRT, LMT, a Nationally Board Certified Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine practitioner, is making significant strides in the wellness community through her innovative practice, Serendipity Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork, based in Fort Pierce, Florida. Established in 2004, Serendipity has become a cornerstone of health and wellness services, seamlessly integrating acupuncture and herbal medicine since 2017.

With over three decades of healthcare experience, Dr. Hayes-Hurst is a triple board-certified professional in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, Massage and Bodywork, and Respiratory Therapy. Her journey in healthcare began in 1989, leading her to earn a degree in Respiratory Therapy from Indian River Community College in 1993. Dr. Hayes-Hurst pursued her passion for preventative medicine by graduating from Treasure Coast Massage School in 1995, where she began her commitment to holistic health.

Throughout her career, Dr. Hayes-Hurst has worked in various settings, including hospitals and outpatient cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation programs. Her collaborative efforts with doctors in primary and emergency care have fueled her relentless pursuit of innovative ways to help individuals achieve their wellness goals. A pivotal moment occurred in June 2014 at the Florida State Massage Therapy Association Conference, where she was inspired to further her education and expand her impact on healthcare.

Dr. Hayes-Hurst enrolled in the Atlantic Institute of Oriental Medicine in August 2014 and completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Health Science and Master’s Degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in 2017, culminating in her Doctorate in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in 2022. Her doctoral internship at the prestigious Cleveland Clinic Martin Health allowed her to gain invaluable experience in both the Emergency and Cardiopulmonary Medicine departments.

Currently, Dr. Hayes-Hurst is enhancing her expertise in holistic wellness and longevity through advanced training at the Shaolin Temple Yunnan, under the guidance of Shi Fu Shi Yan Jun. This ongoing education underscores her commitment to providing the highest quality of care to her patients.
