Having always enjoyed science at school, this interest led Dr. Wenzel to study medicine. After high school, he joined the service to explore the world and further develop his skills. He trained as a medic and received basic knowledge of medicine.
Wanting to expand this knowledge, he enrolled in college at the Ross University School of Medicine. Upon graduating with his medical degree, he entered the family residency program at MercyOne North Iowa.
