Stern Cardiovascular is the largest cardiovascular group in the tri-state area. Known as one of the largest medical research areas in the country, Stern Cardiovascular was founded by a Memphian, Dr. Neuton S. Stern, in 1920. Patients can expect to receive state-of-the-art diagnostics and treatment of all aspects of cardiovascular disease including hypertension, coronary artery disease, congestive heart failure, cardiac valve disorders (including mitral valve prolapse), myocardial infarction, cardiac hyperlipidemia, arteriosclerosis, and atherosclerosis. 

A graduate of Des Moines University with his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree, Dr. Ahmadian served as a cardiologist in the air force before settling into private practice. He went on to complete a residency from 2008 to 2011 at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in internal medicine and a fellowship at San Antonio Military Medical Center in cardiovascular disease. 

Dr. Ahmadian is board certified in internal medicine, cardiology, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, and cardiac CT.
