Get to know Orthodontist Dr. Anne Angle, who serves patients in Oaks, Pennsylvania.

Well-versed in the field of orthodontics, Dr. Angle works with patients at her private practice, Angle Orthodontics.

Located in the suburban Philadelphia town of Oaks, Pennsylvania, Angle Orthodontics provides the latest orthodontic techniques. Dr. Angle and her highly trained staff treat patients using state-of-the-art technology in a home-like atmosphere.

Growing up in Wyomissing, Pennsylvania, she graduated from Smith College with a degree in biochemistry followed by graduating in the top ten of her class from University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine with her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry degree. Following dental school, she completed a two-year residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, remaining the second year as Chief Resident.

Wanting to specialize in orthodontics, Dr. Angle was accepted into the Mayo Clinic. While at the Mayo Clinic studying, conducting research, and practicing orthodontics for three years, she was trained in cutting-edge treatments. She served on the Mayo Clinic’s Craniofacial Team where she worked with a team of doctors to treat patients such as cleft palate patients. Her broad experience, exceptional skills, and in-depth knowledge were recognized by Mayo’s expert panel that examined and evaluated her research, which was then published.

Subsequent to her education, Dr. Angle attained board certification in orthodontics through the American Board of Orthodontics, which is the highest honor an orthodontist can achieve. To become a board-certified orthodontist, candidates must pass a rigorous exam where several patients with initially difficult orthodontic treatment must be treated with exceptional outcomes and graded by other experienced and board-certified orthodontists.

Orthodontics is a specialty of dentistry that deals with the diagnosis, prevention, and correction of malpositioned teeth and jaws. Orthodontists are responsible for identifying problems with the positioning of a patient’s teeth and with their oral development. They utilize the most advanced procedures and equipment available to ensure that every patient achieves a healthy and beautiful smile.

Striving to use the latest orthodontic techniques by attending continuing education conferences throughout the year, Dr. Angle is a Preferred provider for Invisalign and was chosen by Invisalign to participate in a study while creating their new Invisalign teen program.

On a more personal note, she lives in Audubon with her husband and two children. She loves to support her local schools and youth sports teams. For fun, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, playing tennis, and skiing.
