A 2011 graduate of the Damascus University Faculty of Medicine, Dr. Bachour embarked on her medical career by initially pursuing a residency in ophthalmology at her home country but her passion for internal medicine led her to complete a second residency at MedStar Washington Hospital Center from 2015 to 2018. 

Dr. Bachour is board certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine, ensuring the highest standards of care for her patients. Her affiliations extend to the American College of Physicians and the American Medical Association, staying abreast of the latest advancements in medical research and technology. 

With licenses to practice in Washington, D.C., Virginia, and Maryland, Dr. Bachour is affiliated with prestigious healthcare institutions, including MedStar Southern Maryland Hospital Center, MedStar Washington Hospital Center, MedStar Georgetown University Hospital, and Inova Alexandria Hospital.
