Get to know Registered Dietitian Dr. Starr M. Seip, who serves patients in Pine Grove, Pennsylvania. 

Dr. Seip is a registered dietitian serving Pine Grove and the surrounding communities. Dr. Seip maintains a professional membership with the American Association of Diabetes Educators. The AADE is a multidisciplinary association dedicated to empowering healthcare professionals with the knowledge and skills to deliver exceptional diabetes education, management and support. 

A registered dietitian nutritionist is a food and nutrition expert who has met academic and professional requirements. As a registered dietitian, Dr. Seip helps patients choose the right things to eat, help them plan menus, and advise them on the health effects of certain foods. She assesses a patient’s current dietary habits and needs, educate them on healthy eating habits, follow up to ensure the menus are working, and write reports that document a patient’s progress. 

During her time in the field, Dr. Seip has helped numerous patients get control over their life through proper nutrition. She attributes her success to the leadership training and experience she acquired in the Army National Guard.
