As such, Dr. Whitney successfully treats patients with common chronic conditions such as knee, back, and shoulder pain, anti-aging, musculoskeletal injuries, nerve pains (peripheral neuropathy), autoimmune conditions, Autism, COPD, heart failure, and many more.

After earning a BA degree in Psychology from the University of West Florida (2007), Dr. Whitney spent three years as an Infantry Officer in the US Army (2008 – 2009). He then enrolled with the National University of Natural Medicine and received his Naturopathic Medicine Doctor degree and Master of Science degree in Integrative Medical Research in 2015.  In 2019, he acquired a Master of Science degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from the Phoenix Institute of Herbal Medicine and Acupuncture. He is a member of the International Society for Cell and Gene Therapy (ISCT) and the Institute for Functional Medicine.

A competitive multi-sport athlete for most of his life, Dr. Whitney currently plays amateur baseball for the AZMSBL Tigers. Outside his clinical and research commitments, he enjoys exercise, baseball, cooking, hiking/camping, gardening, traveling, reading, practicing Buddhism and Merpati Putih, playing guitar, and studying all things for health and healing.
