Dedicated to improving the healthcare needs of dermatology patients, Dr. Shaurya is board-certified in dermatology by the American Board of Dermatology (ABD). The ABD is a voluntary, non-profit, private, autonomous organization formed for the primary purpose of protecting the public interest by establishing and maintaining high standards of training, education, and qualifications of physicians rendering care in dermatology.

Pertaining to the doctor’s educational background, he received his Bachelor of Science degree in the 7 Year Honors Program in Medicine from the University of Miami, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude. He then went on to receive his Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Miami and his medical degree from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. As for his training, he completed his residency in dermatology at Howard University Hospital.
