Get to know Anesthesiologist & Pain Doctor Dr. Rudram Naidu Muppuri, who serves patients in Port Huron, Michigan.

Dr. Muppuri is a board-certified anesthesiologist and pain doctor who is affiliated with McLaren Port Huron – a 186-bed non-profit hospital located in Port Huron, Michigan. A community hospital founded in 1882, McLaren Port Huron has a strong history of providing quality, compassionate care to residents living in St. Clair and Sanilac counties and has earned repeated recognition for both clinical excellence and patient safety from nationally renowned health care rating organizations.

Dr. Muppuri is board-certified in anesthesiology and pain medicine by the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA). The ABA sets standards and exams for the accreditation of board-certified anesthesiologists coming to the end of their residency. It is one of the 24 medical specialty boards that constitutes the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS). 

Dr. Muppuri earned his medical degree from Dr. NTR University of Health Science in Vijayawada, India. He then went on to complete his residency at Wayne State University before completing a fellowship in interventional pain at Henry Ford Health Care Systems in Detroit, Michigan.

Dr. Muppuri holds many professional memberships, serving as one of the Board of Directors for the Michigan Society of Anesthesiology. He is also a life member of the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians (ASIPP) and the Indian Society of Anesthesiology (ISA).
